'Mucin flows through you' consists of the endless repetition of a bureacratic choreography portraying a human-snail hybrid’s unproductive interaction with human-centered technology. Through the properties of disidentification that snail mucin brings, it looks into how the procedures of identification and classification that modern civilizations have long mastered fall short when faced with non-normative bodies. 

 

While what Rosi Braidotti describes as “the global world order’s schizoid logic of expansion and contraction, mobility and control, homogenisation and differentiation”* has turned imperative an identity dependent on blood, geographical and anatomical relations; snail mucin advocates for the plurality and contextuality of identity.**
